Born in Switzerland and graduated Illustrator - Designer from the Emile Cohl School (Lyon), Philippe JOZELON began his artistic career as a painter and decorator in Paris. He created his first illustrations for the Hachette Jeunesse, Bayard Jeunesse and Gallimard editions. It was mainly at Fleuve Noir editions, that JOZELON met Christian Garraud and François Ducos who entrusted him with all the cover illustrations of the Bibliothèque du Fantastique collection and especially of the SF series La Compagnie Des Glaces by GJ Arnaud. Since 2020, Philippe JOZELON has been creating a series of unpublished illustrations for the VERMINE 2047 game by Julien Blondel with the AGATE editions. In addition to his activities as an illustrator for a large number of publishers (currently SEMA, UTOH, NESTIVEQNEN), Philippe JOZELON pursues his graphic research in a freer manner (photography, digital, drawing, objects) and without concessions through many works. personal that mix sulphurous eroticism and putrefying nature. His favorite themes are organic landscapes, abandoned houses, dark forests and the entities that haunt them. Since 2001, he has taught and directed creation and illustration workshops at Ecole Créapole (Paris), and at EPAC (Switzerland).
